...Amber's saddle slid off Boise with her on it. Luckily, she was in the yard and had just mounted, and wasn't flying along on some path like she sometimes does.

The girth on her saddle was cut almost clean through where the buckle attached to the saddle. Amber never takes the girth off-she's always in too much of a hurry. She didn't notice the cut. When she stood up in her stirrups, the girth snapped.

Mr. Dawson looked at it. He couldn't figure out how it happened.

We were extra careful to check everything else.
