"Song Weaver is complete as a stand-alone novel, but as I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole series I would definitely recommend reading them in sequence. The Bainevah books revolve around an imagined ancient mythology with unique paranormal elements. Song Weaver is my pick of the series so far. Veerian is not a complex character, so readers will quickly feel drawn into her life...Rushtan complicates the situation nicely with his own male insecurities...As the pair work together to piece together mysteries of the past and present, issues develop to add depth and conflict to the romance. Secondary characters mentioned in the first and second Bainevah books are reintroduced in a manner that does not distract from the storyline. They add interest and provide insight into some past events from a different viewpoint. Michelle L. Levigne has rapidly become one of my favourite authors. Her ability to make a fantasy world/planet and its unique people plausible is to be commended. Upon reflection, each of Michelle L. Levigne's books has commentary on our own planet and people if you are to look for it. This author's backlist is quite impressive and I'm sure that once you have read the Bainevah series, you will be keen to read more of her books."--Fallen Angel Reviews
