"This is one that is almost, to borrow a phrase, too marvelous for words. From the first page, you are drawn into a fantasy world to rival the acknowledged masters of the genre. At the same time, there is a strong romance perfectly balanced amidst the main plotline. This is an incredible book. Fans of Harry Potter, the Shannara series, and even Star Wars will want to cross over to romance to enjoy this one. Romance fans will not be at all disappointed either as Angela and Jachin are the perfect balance to each other, with her being all light to his darkness. The magic fits smoothly into the mixture. Neither side of the story, be it the sword and sorcery or the romance, is neglected in favor of the other. I can only hope that Ms. Anderson writes more soon, as Boaz and Lilith have yet to find love."--Amanda Killgore, Romance At Its Best Magazine
"Ms. Anderson has outdone herself! While filled with the traditional fantasy themes, Wizard's Moon breaks the mold, adding twists and turns. Dimensional characters that speak to your heart and vivid descriptions abound, immersing the reader in a different world. I especially enjoyed the interplay between the characters; it added a depth not normally found in single title fantasy. Truly an unforgettable magical journey, Wizard's Moon will satisfy and enthrall even the veteran fantasy readers. A definite must-have."--Sharon McGinty, In The Library Reviews
"4.5 Stars!...Rebecca Anderson's story of triplet wizards separated at birth and sent to Earth by their White Wizard mother is fascinating. Wizard's Moon is set on the isle of Sena, where white and dark wizards, fairies and all sorts of magical creatures abound. The thirty-year-old triplets form the Triad to vanquish evil from Sena, but one Lute, or Earthling, woman holds the key to making this happen--or evil will get the upper hand. This richly detailed story has plenty of action and adventure with appearances of magical creatures from dragons to fairies."--Kathy Boswell, Romantic Times Magazine
...In her ear Jachin whispered, “Angela, I want you more than I’ve ever wanted anyone in my life.”
Ripples of tingling warmth radiated out from where his breath brushed her ear. Just his breath against her skin drove her crazy with wanting him, and she found herself leaning back against his chest, while her hand stroked his arm. The springy hair prickled her sensitive fingertips, and she could feel the movement of warm muscles beneath her touch.
She wanted him, too, but she wasn’t going to tell him that. If she did, she was certain they would both be lost.
“Your heart’s beating so fast,” he whispered, moving his hand to a spot just above her breast.
She fought the impulse to move his hand lower. Instead, she cupped her hand over his. That seemed safe enough without giving up the incredible sensations by moving away from him.
But Jachin shattered her idea of safe by moving her hand, along with his, even lower. The two layers of soft fabric she wore seemed to melt as she felt their hands cover her breast. She pressed his fingers tightly against her, and her nipple hardened against his hand. Her entire body reacted with heat to his touch, her knees threatening to buckle. But still his hand moved lower, splaying against her belly as he pressed her more tightly against him.
Don’t turn around. If you do, you’ll be lost. Don’t let him kiss you. You won’t be able to stop yourself. You’ll be lost. Lost. The word repeated itself over and over again as logical thought struggled to survive.
She’d been worried about the dangers of the surrounding forest, but that didn’t compare to the terror she now felt at the passion within her that Jachin threatened to release. She knew if she gave herself to him, not only would they lose their only means of leaving Sena, she would be forever lost to a man she could never have.
Her greatest fear had presented itself like a fire-breathing dragon, and Angela was afraid she wouldn’t survive this attack with only a few scars because it wasn’t only her body threatening to surrender to Jachin. It was her soul.
As his fingers slid to the juncture of her thighs and pressed against her intimately, she fought for the strength to stop him. She was drowning, and she couldn’t swim.
“Nooo,” she said in a pitiful whimper, even as her hips arched toward his hand.
Jachin’s entire body stilled. She could feel his rapid breathing, warm against her ear as he whispered. “I’m…sorry.” Then he roughly moved from her. “No I’m not, damn it! I’m not sorry. Why should I be sorry for wanting you?”
Angela turned to him, watching anger replace his passion.
His eyes challenged her as he said, “If we were in our world, we’d only have each other and our consciences to answer to.” He raked his fingers through his long hair as he turned his back on her.
Angela gave a weary shake of her head. What Jachin didn’t know was she would be fighting the same battle back in the safety of a non-magic world. Just like here, she would lose herself if she allowed herself to make love to him. Even though he had made it clear he wanted her, without true love and a lifetime commitment, she wasn’t about to give her soul to any man. Besides, she knew a man like Jachin wanted?no, needed?perfection in a woman, just as he did in his art. She was only a mortal, and a MacAlpin at that. She had too many flaws for the great and powerful wizard Jachin Morgan.
Shakily she walked to the fire pit, only then realizing that, without Boaz, they couldn’t start a fire. She pointed to the pit. “Jachin. how are we—”
Her words were cut off as Jachin pointed angrily toward the pit, and a bolt of electricity arced from his finger to the wood. Instantly flames appeared.
His action only intensified the realization that she didn’t belong with Jachin in this world or any world...
