Suzanne is an Aquarian to the core and was born the month of February in Connecticut. On fall days, she’s been known to pine away for those bold, beautiful East Coast autumn colors.
As a child, she wanted to be three things: an actress, a teacher, and a writer. By the time she was twelve, she was avidly reading Nancy Drew mysteries and Judy Bloom romances. She would fill spiral notebooks, cover to cover, with novel chapters. When the notebook was almost out of paper, she would quickly wrap up the story and the characters always lived “happily ever after.”
Suzanne has continued writing over the years, between attending college, working as a paralegal at a law office, having two beautiful children, then homeschooling for 11 years, volunteering as a La Leche League Leader, and teaching Creative Writing, Journalism, Yearbook and Gardening at a Southern California learning center for homeschoolers.
In the last eight years, she has been published through various online venues, including Oxygen Media, where her article entitled, "Why Barbie Can't be a Mom," a humorous take on Barbie, was voted best Oxygen web page for several months. Suzanne also freelanced for Moms Online, a parenting website later owned by Oxygen.
Suzanne currently resides on the Colorado prairie, where she enjoys watching her two children grow up, laughing and loving with her life partner Diane, and playing with their eighteen horses, five chickens, one feisty cat, one energetic black lab, and two hamsters. When she’s not writing, or tending to the ranch, she is operating a massage office with Diane. And, when she is not doing all of the above, she enjoys long walks, yoga and meditation, gardening, and reading any herbal and homeopathic book she can get her hands on.
